The Periodic Table Project

In this project we aim to learn about elements in the periodic table in a collaborative way.

We investigate together about the classifications and groups of elements. These include:

• History of the development of this periodic table and relevant scientists
• Classifications and groups of elements

We also investigate the atomic structure of each element. This include:

• The structure of atom (nucleus and orbits of electrons)
• Components of atom (e.g., proton, neutron, electrons)

Each participant then chooses one element and create a 3D model of its atom and write a blog about it. Below are two examples:

A periodic table book will then be created collecting all contributed blogs.
